Product #: 0002
Name: Dimensions Parting
Author: Dominus Deorum
Language: Bard's Tale Construction Set
OS: MS-DOS
Price: undetermined
Description:
This game resembles the Bard's Tale series of games very
closely (for obvious reasons), but involves a very much
more exotic world, with new spells, new monsters, and
a new threat! The adventurer's world is threatened with
dimensional collapse, with the very fabric of reality
ripping to shreds a bit more with every passing moment.
The goal is simple: restore the integrity of the
dimensional structure...Easier said than done! Bard's
Tale fans will LOVE this one!
Product #: 0003
Name: The Awakening
Author: CyberCerberus
Language: Turbo C++
OS: MS-DOS
Price: undetermined
Description:
Suddenly, there you were. You were. You knew that you
existed...But what were you? Explore a strange, exciting,
and often disturbing universe from the eyes of a machine--
that's right, a MACHINE--who has suddenly gained that
magical spark of life: consciousness! Your perspective
of humanity and the value of the Mind will never be the
same after you play this game, which is only a barely a
game, and more a surreal trapse across the other side of
possibility. Experience the confusion and excitement
of UNDERSTANDING SELF as you visit worlds never before
dreamed... Features 3D space combat, economic planetary
development systems, self-reprogramming sequences, and
bizarre 5-dimensional navigation!
Product #: 0004
Name: Blitz! ScreenSaver
Author: Dominus Deorum
Language: MASM
OS: MS-DOS
Price: $0.00
Description:
The smallest screensaver you will ever have resident in your
RAM! Blitz! was written entirely in Assembly language, and
carefully optimized by hand to occupy less than *2k* of
RAM while active! The concept is simple, but it works: after
the allotted amount of time without user activity, the screen
bursts into a flurry of random ASCII characters, derived by
a unique random-number generator, and remains "fuzzy" until
the user presses a key. There are other little features, as
well, including command line options for time delay, and a
wandering "blue block cursor."
Product #: 0005
Name: On Forgotten Worlds
Author: CyberCerberus
Language: Turbo C++
OS: MS-DOS
Price: undetermined
Description:
Yet another bizarre Cerberus Development PC Screensaver,
On Forgotten Worlds displays a randomly-generated alien
landscape which is being examined in by a flying Rover.
All of this uses 3D graphical techniques and simple
artificial intelligence guidance routines. Periodically,
the Rover will locate an "alien artifact" which will
appear on the screen for "analysis." The Rover will then
continue with its exploration. This continues until the
user presses a key. One of the most interesting screen
savers to date!
Product #: 0006
Name: Harper's Faery
Author: CyberCerberus
Language: Turbo C++
OS: MS-DOS
Price: undetermined
Description:
On the planet called Dryx, in a universe very different
from our own, exist a group of people known as the
Harpers, who are blessed with the ability to create
propulsion through their minds and their music. The
primary form of transportation (and therefore a key
element in commerce) is the Faery, which is the unique
craft piloted only by Harpers... A Faery is a small
boat, similar to a canoe, with a large harp mounted
amidships to supply propulsion and lift. Sounds a little
bit "out there" to you? It is! Throw your assumptions
about reality and politics away, sit back, and enjoy
the luscious world of Harper's Faery, which features
MIDI music, a special music-generating algorithm,
3D flight/combat scenes on a Faery(!), digitized
photography, and a plot that will literally never
fully unwind!
Product #: 0007
Name: Skids
Author: CyberCerberus
Language: Turbo C++
OS: MS-DOS
Price: undetermined
Description:
Still in conceptual development, Skids will be a game
which takes place at the South Pole of the planet
Earth, in a distant past, far before the birth of
mankind, or the arising of human technology...Featuring
3D first-person graphics in an intense, grueling,
and high-speed chase in snowmobile-type vehicles across
the frozen planes, Skids will provide some gut-wrenching
action and crazy-as-hell gameplay!
Product #: 0008
Name: Excavation
Author: CyberCerberus
Language: Turbo C++
OS: MS-DOS
Price: undetermined
Description:
This game is so young in its conceptual development that
I can't even describe it effectively. Suffice it to say
that the game will have something to do with asteroid
mining, and will probably feature MIDI music and raytraced
top-down graphics.
Product #: 0009
Name: Bitch on a Broom
Author: CyberCerberus
Language: Turbo C++
OS: MS-DOS
Price: undetermined
Description:
Get ready for some good-old, tongue-in-cheek, Zaxxon-style
shoot-em-and-fly-around gameplay! B on a B will feature
360 degree rotation, raytraced graphics, zany spells, MIDI
music, and a load-o-humor! The player controls a witch,
the rightful heir to a vast land, but who has been cheated
out of her domain by her worthless brother Harold, and
so has set out to "clean house" by flying across the landscape,
turning Harold's minions into frogs, and other such
absurdities.
